Our topic in Numeracy has been 'Length'.
The Primary One children are sorting paper strips into the correct set.
Primary Two were measuring with marshmallows!!
Primary One were ordering objects by length.
We were reading the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'
and finding items that were shorter than the giant's footprint.
..............and longer than the giant's footprint.
Then we found an enormous footprint in the corridor!! Had the giant paid us a visit?

The children have been busy making dog puppets with moveable ears, creating Dinosaur Land from the construction toys and making doll shape pictures.
Primary One and Two had a great day at The Argory where they went back in time to see what life was like in the past.
The children enjoyed dressing up and playing with the old fashioned toys. Not too sure they fancied using a chamber pot though!

Primary Two really enjoyed their shared classes on Autumn with children from St John's Primary. The Autumn colours were great even if the weather wasn't!
