PE kit needed on Wednesdays and Fridays
P3 & 4 have been enjoying lessons with Miss Wilson.
Here they are completing spelling activities where they made their own wordsearches, used sign language to spell out their words and solved the anagrams.
We had fun with Action Cancer.
We learned about healthy eating and took part in games to keep us active.

For homework, P3 & 4 pupils made interesting World War 2 Fact Files.

We had a fantastic trip to Armagh Palace Stables as part of our World War Two topic.
We met an American soldier, an evacuee officer and even got to go into an air raid shelter.
Patrick was a brilliant air raid warden and Sam helped the American soldier with his duties.

We completed our paintings based on the theme of 'Winter'
We have been learning all about addition.
We wrote a number on our whiteboards, we walked about and when we heard STOP we paired up with the nearest person.
We then added our two numbers together.
P3/4 enjoyed their Christmas trip to Peter Pans.

What fun we had making glittery snow globes...Christmas has definitely arrived in P3 & P4.
WOW...look at our lovely penguins.
We had lots of fun painting the background for our pictures and cutting out all the pieces for our penguins.

It was great to hear so many fantastic adjectives being used to
describe the item brought from home.

Our work on adjectives took us on a hunt around the school to find sentences.
We had to think of an adjective to describe the nouns.

We went on a noun hunt. We had to look for the nouns stuck up around the corridor.
P4 then had to sort them into the categories of person, place or thing.
P3&4 kicked off the topic of World War 2 with some Blitz art work.
Alphabetical order is much more fun when it is a game!
P3 & 4 found the word cards & sorted them into groups.
They then put the cards into alphabetical order.
