Bouncy Castle Fun
We designed wind socks and tested them outside.
They showed us what direction the wind was blowing.
The finished Seasons Tree looks great! Well done P4!
P4 made a seasons tree to show Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn. Good team work!
Art time for P3/4. We looked at weather symbols and drew and painted our own. They look great!!
The children had a great morning learning about 'The Amazing Journey' with Baptist Youth and local churches.
Pupils in P3 & 4 had lots of fun measuring with non-standard and standard units, Great job everyone!
P3 had a visit from Action Cancer. They learned all about healthy eating and how to stay safe in the sun.
Easter fun in P3 & 4
We wrote about ourselves inside our cards and included our pictures.
We hope our Pen Pals will like them.
We sent Easter Cards to our Pen Pals in WISH Charter School in Los Angeles, America.
Primary 3 and 4 received their hockey certificates from Christine Russell.
They enjoyed 10 weeks of coaching with Christine last term.

As part of our money topic we visited Walker's shop.
Each pupil brought £1 to spend. They had to work out what they could afford and select the items they wished to purchase.
P3 & 4 had the opportunity to scan barcodes and work out what change they would receive.

Oh yummy scrummy! We made delicious pancakes on Pancake Tuesday!
We chose different toppings. Chocolate spread was definitely a favourite!
P3 & P4 have been enjoying using Gameboards for their money topic in Numeracy.
Primary 3 and 4 had a fantastic day out at Benburb Castle with Alliance Youth.
We learned about different birds, hunted for insects and enjoyed a walk around the forest.
Moy Regional & St. John's Primary 4 classes took part in the Signature Project shared lessons. We had a trip to Parkanaur where we learned about different birds and made some bird feeders. Mrs Hewitt & Mrs Hughes taught lessons on the WAU topic of 'Birds.' We read about Benjamin Jay the Bully and discussed friendships using the conscience alley and hot seating techniques. Making funky birds was really good fun!
We enjoyed a trip to Dungannon Library. We found out that we could borrow up to 9 books for 3 weeks! WOW!
The pupils had a great time exploring the kids section and finding their favourite books.
