Bouncy Castle Fun Day 

We cooled off after sports day with a yummy ice cream treat from Mr Whippy.

We have been learning all about Owls. We recalled lots of interesting facts for our writing activity.

We celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III.

The pupils made a great effort in dressing up and enjoyed their wonderfully royal lunch. 

P4 worked together using the shape blocks to complete the Tangrams.  Super job everyone!

We had a great morning using the Izak9 cube during our live lesson with Franz. The pupils showed great problem solving skills and team work.

We had a great virtual lesson with Nigel from the Ulster Museum. We learned lots of interesting facts about red squirrels, hedgehogs, buzzards and foxes.

We drew foxes and hedgehogs to show Nigel.

Look at our fabulous wind socks. We love the bright colours and designs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas trip to Peter Pans.

It was a really great, fun day out.

We made a simple snowman decoration to take home to decorate our house for Christmas. They have colourful ear muffs to keep them warm in the freezing temperatures.

We made penguins out of plastic bottles. It was fun painting them and choosing a coloured scarf to keep them warm. 

To show our support of Anti-bullying week we wore our odd socks to school. 

P3&4 reflected on the history of Remembrance Day and created poppy art work for our wall display.

We filled our boxes with our yummy goodies to take home and enjoy.

We filled our cake boxes to take home- look at our yummy goodies to eat and enjoy. 

For Autumn fun week, we made delicious chocolate apples and iced yummy biscuits.

We had a great morning at our second Ditch the Dark day. Well done to all Prize winners too.

We have been learning all about rounding.

Today P3 & 4 brought in their favourite toys for a show and tell activity. They used fabulous adjectives to describe their toys. 

We enjoy using the interactive board to practise our greater than and less than symbols.

We have been learning all about place value. We played some games and used our whiteboards to partition the numbers. 

We have been learning about Autumn. It was fun drawing and colouring leaves in the beautiful Autumnal colours. 

We enjoyed yummy tuck shop treats to finish off our first month back at school.

A nice Friday treat. 

DITCH THE DARK DAY

Unfortunately our walk to school had to be cancelled due to the weather but pupils made a fantastic effort to dress brightly. Well done everyone. 

We have been learning all about nouns. We went on a noun hunt in the assembly hall and found lots of nouns. We used noun fans to decide if words called out were people, places or things and moved to the right noun category in our classroom. 

We revised when to use capital letters and full stops with hip hop Granny. It got us moving and learning at the same time.

Primary 3 & 4 spent some time reflecting on the life of Queen Elizabeth II and made beautiful cards to remember her. 

We are thankful for her long life of duty, service and dedication. 

It was a lovely warm September afternoon for our first session back with CR Hockey.

Meet our class

Our class PE days are Tuesday & Friday.

We will have hockey on Tuesday- Remember to bring shin pads and a mouth guard.

Healthy Kidz will be in school every Friday.
